so happy!

I had my 28th week doctor's appointment today and everything is well. I went for my GD testing a week and a half ago and everything came back great! passed with flying colors! So I celebrated, like most pregnant women would, with an ice cream sandwich at 845am! lol. I am so grateful our babe is doing great with a heartbeat of 147 today. (which would indicate female.... but it was also a couple a weeks ago 131... which indicates male... oh wives tales!) anyway. We have our 3d ultrasound on saturday which is very exciting! The doctor thinks the baby's back is facing my front.. let's hope it will spin around for the ultrasound this weekend! so things are looking good. no complaints and the doctor is more then impressed with how things are going. I also have another ultrasound on Aug.13th , but that is to see how big babes is. I am measuring 4-5 weeks ahead of schedule right now.. it could just be more liquid then normal.

I am so excited that this baby will be here in 2 and a half more months. :) the bad news is hubby is away at the end of august, all of september and possibly the start of october! but he isn't too far out of town so he can rush back at anytime. (he'll be about 1 1/2 hours out of town)

so that is about it... looking forward to getting things done around the house. we swapped over a fridge last night! I know it's those little things that make me excited! it was great to clean out the fridge and get rid of all the old things and find new things. Next we are going to be tackling the pantry. I will need help with this since we have to step up and in to it... (I'll take a picture cause it is that stupid of a pantry) so hopefully hubby will help me with it.

The next few days here are suppose to be HOT! in the +30's so I am not looking forward to that. but Thankfully we don't have too much going on. It is a long weekend this week.. but we can't leave town due to my husband is on call for work. Hopefully we will get things done around the house. We cleaned out our closets too and have a pile going to goodwill. We are also going to try and sell some stuff on Kijiji to get rid of some of the good stuff that we don't use anymore. We are trying to live with as little as possible since we have a very small home.

Weekly update

I am updating this a day early because I will be traveling for work tomorrow.

How far along? 27 weeks 5days

Weight? I bought a scale today and weight myself. I am up 5 pounds of my pre-pregnancy weight!

Maternity clothes? Oh yes! I couldn't live without them! I can still fit most of my regular tops

Stretch marks? No new ones but getting darker in color- using some cream now - rocky mountain soap's belly butter.

Sleep? ok.. I am getting used to waking up to pee and waking up at 3am with heartburn every night

Best moment this week? it's been 5 weeks since last losing my stomach!

Movement? I believe it is a soccer player! it loves to kick!

Cravings? blueberries! in the past week or so I have eaten 4 pounds of blueberries!! It's all I can think about.

Gender? No idea. this week I am back to girl.

What I miss? deep sleep

What I'm looking forward to? October! and next weekend is our 3d ultrasound. and no we will not be finding out the sex.

Weekly Wisdom: Loving my husband and making sure that I tell him everyday and tell him how much I appreciate how much he does for us.

Milestones: 12 weeks left! and eating a whole meal! go baby!

Emotions: all over the place! angry today there was a parade downtown today and I had to go to work and then go out and drop off a lens and it was annoying with people all over the place and traffic all over the place.

Weight? probably just over pre-pregnancy weight. no idea.

Maternity clothes? Oh yes! I couldn't live without them! I can still fit most of my regular tops

Stretch marks? No new ones but getting darker in color- using some cream now - rocky mountain soap's belly butter.

Sleep? not great been waking up every couple of hours to pee! The babe has found my bladder and thinks it is a bouncy castle!

Best moment this week? it's been 4 weeks since last losing my stomach!

Movement? All the time! I am pretty sure it didn't have a nap yesterday. Today it is a little quiet. but still kicking! Stronger and you can see babe move from the outside even more.

Cravings? None today.

Gender? No idea. this week I am back to girl.

What I miss? food and eating a whole meal. but yesterday I ate a whole meal! Proud moment!

What I'm looking forward to? October! and for bathroom renos to start and windows being installed! and mom coming home in 2 months! and our 3d ultrasound in the coming weeks!

Emotions: Happy! excited! and very very tired! I would like to sleep all day! I am loving the weather cause it is keeping the heat down, but at the same time it is making me so sleepy! it's been raining for a week!

coming home outfit

I may not have the nursery set up yet but I have the coming home outfit! one in pink, one in blue, although we are only having one baby - we just don't know what it is yet - well we do know it is a monkey!

Booties!

Here are the boots we are planning on bringing the babe home in. I bought them off ebay.ca. I am so in love with these boots!!

We have the coming home outfit too - one in pink and brown, the other in blue and brown! I will upload those later. We are getting closer! only 13 weeks to go!

Movement? All the time! it sleeps for a couple of hours during the day but it usually wakes up with me, and goes to bed with me.
