So I had my doctor's appointment yesterday and have finally reached my pre-pregnancy weight! yay baby! I am keeping more food down which is great but also eating a little more healthy too. I am enjoying apples still. and last night hubby wanted a snack from the golden arches, so he brought me back some apple slices! yum! We also bought the coming home outfit (one in pink, one in blue) just in case! Things are coming along. Now all I have to do is get the house organized, and the nursery set up (which won't happen till sept). I booked a fun 3d ultrasound (which we have to pay for) but that's ok! since the ultrasound tech at the free one didn't do a 3d image, and then yesterday my doctor booked me another one because I am measuring big - and not just a little, like 4 weeks ahead of where I am at! so I will get to see little bean two more times! this makes me happy!
On another note, I think I have found true love, in form of a slow cooker! Ummmm where have you been all my life! I usually crash around 5pm, and have been working alot from home, so my burst of energy comes around 2pm.. I then throw some stuff in the pot and come 5pm supper is ready! Love love love it! I can't believe it! I paid 24 dollars for this pot of genius! Brilliant I tell ya! I haven't made too much and I am still working on perfecting some recipes but it is great!
We also headed to the farmer's market in our town on saturday! It was great to get out and get some mini cupcakes, potatoes and eggs! all local which is great! it is still early in the season so there wasn't too much for produce, but it will come. We also finally planted out veggie garden in the back and thank goodness for all the rain the past few days! it saves us from going out and watering the garden! Grow little seeds! Grow!
Anyway I should get back to my real work and get that done so that I can rest on Thursday to celebrate Canada Day!

I have also made some more cookies and am on a lemon fix. tonight - lemon cookies!
Heartburn is setting in more strongly now - as morning sickness is lifting(hopefully I didn't jinx that!). Oh the joys! and not being able to cool myself down when I get too warm.

first craving!
So there is two things I absolutely love in this world 1. My aunt Collette's chocolate Chip cookies and 2. my friend's mom, Shirley's, gingersnap cookies. and since I only have one of these recipes cause the other one is under lock and key, I decided one night last week that I really - ok maybe not I, but the baby really needed homemade chocolate chip cookies. Since it was too late to bake, the hubby went to the local coffee shop to find some cookies.. What a great guy!. but all they had was peanut butter and some strawberry ones... The PB one's hit the spot till I was feeling well enough to make some myself. So saturday, one of the hottest days yet, I decided that I needed to make some cookies! Yummmmy! Finally the baby was happy! Every time I ate one, the baby danced and danced! This batch, there was probably more then 2 dozen! and they didn't last till monday! So up until this point I knew it was my hubby's kid because it is a fussy eater, it doesn't like veggies so much, or anything else really.. and loves big macs! (I really don't care for them much) and now I know this baby is mine! When I was little, we had a babysitter who made cookies pretty much everyday! and if there was chocolate chip cookies around, I would eat them all! so this baby loves chocolate chip cookies! and will dance when given some!
this makes me happy!

today is a new day!
Ok so I was incredibly negative yesterday and for that I would like to apologize for. It is not my nature to complain ( my husband would most likely disagree) but I really try not to. I woke up feeling good - morning sickness seemed not to be there, excited from Monday's photoshop workshop, and ready for a brand new day! however as soon as I waked in the door at work it seemed like it was doomed from the start. I don't think people realize how much work goes into one photo when it is ordered, or needing some kind of change. it is hours and hours of work. yes some things take me 5 mins while others may take a whole day to do. This is the case of "Rome wasn't build in a day". anyway I was stressed out to the max with things just piling and piling up with no breathing room. and Thank goodness for a wonderful boss that can see right through me. anyway in the middle of the day my morning sickness came back full swing. Great! A client was coming in in less then 15 mins. and here I am unable to leave the bathroom. luckily it stopped and I cleaned myself up and away I went even though I really thought it would be back in a second. anyway I finished my day later then expected and had to push a friends stuff to today- no big deal thanks to a wonderful friend!
anyway so I felt incredibly horrible for yesterday and as soon as I walked in the house I thought I have the best husband and family in the world! I realize this everyday and everyday I say thank you for them! especially that wonderful husband!
I walked in to him doing the dishes, and listening to me complain about my day and he just let me talk and then hugged me. He has really done his part in this pregnancy as most -ok-all days it is hard for me to stand and do a dish, or pick up clothes, or do the laundry, or any daily chores that need doing. He has done them. He has let me sleep when needed, or rest. He let's me be as sick as I possibly can and brings me a water and face clothe for my head. He truly is wonderful and I could not ask for more. He is all he can be and he is all I need. so I thank him for being him. I don't need to ask - he just does. and that is how I concluded my day, with a wonderful husband and a cat that loves to cuddle. It doesn't get more perfect then that.

is it nap time yet?
I haven't had too many pregnancy symptoms other then morning sickness - which still continues, and some acne... but the past week has been so exhausting. the first trimester I was not tired -in fact- I was an early riser and in bed pretty early too - but this week I wake up wanting nothing more then to take a nap. I can barely keep my eyes open.
On a brighter note- I spoke to the doctor and the baby is super healthy and wonderful. He/she is kicking up a storm all the time. I might get another ultrasound later on because I am measuring 4 weeks ahead of schedule which means the baby might be big. Well it shouldn't be. I have managed to put on 2 pounds of the 8 that I lost. Most ladies are up way more then that by now. Oh well the doctor isn't worried about it, so neither am I. I am eating a little more healthy, and also well not eating full portions. I wish I could but I just can't. The morning sickness seems to hit the worst in the evenings. My poor hubby. He loves supper time and I just can't stomach most things during that time. Oh well - this way he gets what he wants for supper. He's been so great! I couldn't have asked for someone sweeter and wonderful during this time.
We also purchased a sleeping bag cover for a car seat. No we don't have a car seat yet - but it was on sale. I find myself in a wonderful position since there are lots of fall/winter stuff on sale now. I am also planning to stock up on some essentials between now and october. (The usual , bath things, diapers, fleece-if it is on sale, as I want to make a quilt too at some point. )
Anyway I have tons of work to do on this exhausting day for me so I really should stop procrastinating and get it done!
Here's my tummy at 20 weeks - it seems to have popped over night. I look much more pregnant from the side the the front. not alot of people have noticed. but my belly button is starting to pop out alittle.
